Sting defused?

The day we saw the Wads of notes on the table of the Parliament, claims were made that the same is recorded by one of the leading news channel of india and the tape would be placed before the speaker for the examination and taking action!

One day later the leader of opposition states that he is surprised that the tape has not reached the speaker and the tv channel has also not telecasted the sting.

Was tape even there? and why the leader of opposition not naming the TV Channel which covered the sting? May be because he fears the denials from the TV Channel which he may name!

Was it a stunt in the parliamant? if so it was not at all good for the health of our democracy.

Lets see what turns out? is it the TV Channel which defused the sting? or was it never recorded? i hope this thing never happened and that the leaders will apologise for their stunt in the parliament!

MAY the DEMOCRACY Surrvive in this Country!

I was going through an article on Democracy and its functioning, and there i found a claim that - "India is largest Democracy" of world in terms of the Population. I thought of comparing the same with USA which is oldest Democracy of the World. RTI HELPLINE WINS AWARD

Launched In 2006, It Has Been Aiding Thousands Fight For Their Rights Ankur Jain | TNN (Times of India Ahmedabad Edition Dated 17.01.2011 Page 2) Ahmedabad: You might not get a kilo of onions for Rs 54, but this Right To Information (RTI) helpline helps thousands every month to fight for their rights — for only that amount. Mahiti Adhikar Gujarat Parishad (MAGP)’s helpline, which was launched in May 2006 and has received more than 60,000 calls till now, is managed by a team of volunteers at a monthly expense of just Rs 54. The helpline has recently won a special award for its contribution to RTI activism from People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL).
