Government Schools as Backbone of Education System and its role in reduction of crime and improvement in Human Development Index.

Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal Government in Delhi and Bhagwant Maan Government in Punjab have always promised and focused on improving Government School's machinery. Do you know why is it important?  Whereas in BJP-ruled states constant efforts are made to close down the government schools and a strong push for private sector schools is going on. this has led to the closure of many government schools in name of merging. The government schools in States like Gujarat do not even have sufficient teachers. Over 1200 schools in Gujarat Run on one teacher. So the question arises - Why the Government schools needed? and What is the effect of closing down and deterioration of government Schools? Government schools are the backbone of education systems in many countries around the world, including many states within the United States. They provide access to quality education to millions of children who come from low-income families and cannot afford to attend private schools. However,

Education: A Key Driver of Social Change and Economic Development

Education is not just a means to acquire knowledge and skills, but a powerful tool that can transform individuals, communities, and societies. It can contribute to economic growth, social cohesion, and democratic governance. Education is a fundamental human right and a public good that should be accessible to all, regardless of their background or circumstances. However, despite its importance, education remains a contested and politicized issue in many parts of the world. Governments, civil society, the private sector, and other stakeholders have different views and interests in shaping education policies and practices. This has led to unequal access to education, poor quality of education, and inadequate resources for education. To address these challenges, public policymakers and politicians need to understand the importance of education in shaping the society they want to create and serve. They need to recognize that education is not a neutral or technical matter, but a complex

Demonitization and Cashless India - Make Internet Access Fundamental Right!

On 8 November 2016 the Prime Minister of India announced demonetisation of rupees 1000 and rupees 500 notes. This came as a shock and surprise to many citizens of India. The move was welcomed by many and also criticised by many people. Now after 10 days of the implementation of cash Ban, debates are going on to move India from a cash based economy to a cashless economy. A very big question is can India become a cashless economy and adopt digital payments and mobile wallets as a mode of transactions making a tectonic shift from cash which has become backbone of Indian economy. This cannot be denied that Indians would Happily love to adopt this concept. The praise PM Modi is getting from people at large is a sign that people wish to change way they transact. But this gives rise to another important question, Can we really do it? I would like to go back into the history when there was Patel agitation going on in Gujarat. The government of Gujarat had suddenly imposed Ban on mobil

Parliament is Supreme - Part II

The Parliament today debated the Censure Motion Introduced by Shri Sharad Yadav and Smt. Sushma Swaraj, against the members of Team Anna, alleging that they acted in a manner, derogatory to the parliament and the members of parliament. All the parliamentarians spoke of the Sanctity of the Institution and the Privileges of the House and its members. It was like a re-run of the debate of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill 2011, where whole house was busy in praising the institution of Parliament and stating that Parliament is Supreme. The whole drama unfolded and was reported in media as the bill was not passed in Rajya Sabha. The Government that day proved the Government is Supreme and the Parliament is probably having some identity crisis. I would dare not say that the Parliament is not supreme, but, I will respectfully submit that the Members have by discussing such motions, and not standing up to the occasion when the time requires, have themselves deprived the institution of the

Mr Prime Minister ... Lok Pal Here...

The Most Debated Question on the date in Indian Political Scenario is whether the Prime Minister and other of his colleagues should be under the purview of the Anti Corruption Machinery of Lokpal? Whether the Higher Judiciary should be covered under the same? The same is being discussed and criticized in the Public Also..  Yeh Publik hai bhai....  They Ask Kya Chupana Hai... ? Corrupt ho kya ... Jo Lokpal Se Bachna Chahte Ho....??? But is it that simple to decide whether the Lokpal Should have jurisdiction over the Prime Ministers office? For this we should know who will be a Lokpal? Lokpal will be a constitutional machinery which will have power to receive complaints of corruption against those covered under the same. It may have power to investigate or interrogate the concerned and others for coming to conclusion It may have power to order enquiry against the official found corrupt and may have powers to recommend the investigations against the corrupt Prime Minister is the E
