Mr Prime Minister ... Lok Pal Here...

The Most Debated Question on the date in Indian Political Scenario is whether the Prime Minister and other of his colleagues should be under the purview of the Anti Corruption Machinery of Lokpal? Whether the Higher Judiciary should be covered under the same?
The same is being discussed and criticized in the Public Also..
Yeh Publik hai bhai....

They Ask Kya Chupana Hai... ?

Corrupt ho kya ... Jo Lokpal Se Bachna Chahte Ho....???

But is it that simple to decide whether the Lokpal Should have jurisdiction over the Prime Ministers office?

For this we should know who will be a Lokpal?
  • Lokpal will be a constitutional machinery which will have power to receive complaints of corruption against those covered under the same.
  • It may have power to investigate or interrogate the concerned and others for coming to conclusion
  • It may have power to order enquiry against the official found corrupt and may have powers to recommend the investigations against the corrupt
Prime Minister is the Executive Head of the State. He is venerable to the opposition, the corrupt, the alien nations, the hostile nations, business houses, friendly but not so friendly nations, espionage rings, mafia and others.. many attempts can be made to destabilize his office..

Think of a foreign enemy sponsoring a litigation against the PMO.. we all know sometimes the complaints are so convincingly true that they tend to create furore in the public. And later it is found that the complainant had some ulterior motives and we all feel pity for the victim of that fake complainant.

Think of situation if we have to loose one honest PMO to such fake and sponsored complaint.. and also think of situation if we find that PMO could not work properly because it was being blackmailed by some one with threat of Lokpal...

I feel that Judicial Activism and Judicial Review has been a fundamental of our constitution which maintains Checks and Balances on the work of executives and this judiciary if within the purview of any such other machinery may loose its independence and may lead to a chaos as the corrupt politicians may use this machinery to pressurize Active Judicial System of our country..

So I feel lets have a Lokpal for our Babus and other ministers and if it is found useful it may take in its purview other persons including PMO and Judiciary

Let us keep this question open for future and have a machinery now..

The Dogs Life - Aftermath of the Mumbai Attack

We all were disturbed by the pictures running for over 60 Hours on the news Channel. The news was the Attack on the Financial Capital of India. The number of Terrorist said to be between 1-12 as per the government statement. The number of People Dead 195 approx in which 22 Foreigners died and around 325 people injured. But most important aspect is i felt that we all Stupid Common Men of India are living DOGS LIFE. Know why? ... It is because the 16 Soilders who died protecting us are given title of the 'Shaheed' which they deserve. The fidayeens who came here to attack Mumbai would be called Shaheed by Jehadis - (i dont feel that they are shaheed) but since terrorism is an undeclared war .. some respect for the opponents too. But what about the STUPID COMMON MAN who died in this encounter.. they are not Shaheeds -- neither they will be remembered for giving up their lives. they will be forgotten by the passage of time and then one more such incident will happen and the list wil

Kashmir and Azadi.

The voices of Azadi in Kashmir are being raised by the separatists. i believe that the government has failed to exercise its role properly. The Government has failed in two months to handle the issue and therefore this situation has arisen. The Government have failed to excercise control on the forces who are having no democratic standing in the state of J&K. The separatists have not taken part in the election process of the kashmir where people vote for a government and therefore they should have no say. and their voices on street should not be given any ear to be heard. they should be asked to face the electrol and then allowed to raise such voices in a democratic way. Without any public representation they cannot claim the right to protest for the people of kashmir. But now the failure of the government in acting on time may lead to situation of embarassment for the government and people of india. WAKE UP OR WE WILL LOOSE OUR CROWN

India a Dictatorial Democracy?

I was going through an article on Democracy and its functioning, and there i found a claim that - "India is largest Democracy" of world in terms of the Population. I thought of comparing the same with USA which is oldest Democracy of the World. Many people are surprised that how Democracy can function in India in wake of the poverty, illiteracy, Caste, region and religious Divide... so is this democracy functioning "RAM BHAROSE"? Then i thought that is this democracy really democratic? or it is just that the tiger is running in the veil of a cow? I tried to study it from the angle of the kind of political parties and found that the Killer of Democracy in India Lies there. The system or the constitutions of the Political parties have the key dictator in them. The Constitution of India becomes helpless against the Party constitutions in indian Democracy. In the USA there are 2 political parties and thus the people with political aspirations have to choose the
