Meet with Saurabhee Winner of - INDIAN IDOL 4

Saurabhee.. Nirali.. Pratik.. ME(Punit) and Hardik
21/10/2009 11:00 PM Outside Ahmedabad Management Association...
We Friends met at our hang out and got a chance to meet Saurabhee winner of Indian Idol 4. To a sweet surprise we got the chance to meet her because of my Friend Viraj's sister Nirali who was also participant of Indian Idol. We Group of Lawyer friends were impressed by her poise and humility. We literally Interviewed her and also asked her regarding her experience post winning Indian Idol. We also asked her about how she will compare her life before and after the Indian Idol 4.
She was kind enough to answer our curious Quick Fires and also made us understand the issues attached to the stardom and we found her too humble and down to earth that she mixed up with us in a very short time and we didn’t feel like talking to some star.
We also discussed some daily soaps running on TV Channels and the realities attached to reality shows.
Impressed is what I will say after meeting her. Must admit that I didn’t follow the Indian Idol 4 after Nirali's Exit from the show, but I know that such a nice person can make a nice singer.
KUDOS For Saurabhee. And KUDOS For Nirali for giving us an opportunity to meet her.

Inflation and Commodity Exchange - a thought...

Commodity trading on exchanges is time and again being held responsible for the increase in the inflation in the essential commodities. Recently Silver touched price of Rs 75000 per kg and then came back crashing to Rs 50000 per kg. It was later found that the lots of speculative trading on the New York Comex was responsible for such a shootup in the silver prices. NY Comex then increased the margin requirement of trading in silver to 84% from 25% and then the prices came down drastically.. this establishes the nexus between the price rise and the speculative trading on the commodity exchanges.. In India on the commodity exchanges all the commodities are being traded and even speculated.. some having marign money requirement of as low as 12 to 15% and thus the prices shoot up because of the speculation.. For example if i can buy a lot of some food grain at 15% margin and one lot on delivery costs 100000 Rs.. i can buy the same for Rs 15000 in a vayada bazaar or the futures market and t...

Education: A Key Driver of Social Change and Economic Development

Education is not just a means to acquire knowledge and skills, but a powerful tool that can transform individuals, communities, and societies. It can contribute to economic growth, social cohesion, and democratic governance. Education is a fundamental human right and a public good that should be accessible to all, regardless of their background or circumstances. However, despite its importance, education remains a contested and politicized issue in many parts of the world. Governments, civil society, the private sector, and other stakeholders have different views and interests in shaping education policies and practices. This has led to unequal access to education, poor quality of education, and inadequate resources for education. To address these challenges, public policymakers and politicians need to understand the importance of education in shaping the society they want to create and serve. They need to recognize that education is not a neutral or technical matter, but a complex...

Mr Prime Minister ... Lok Pal Here...

The Most Debated Question on the date in Indian Political Scenario is whether the Prime Minister and other of his colleagues should be under the purview of the Anti Corruption Machinery of Lokpal? Whether the Higher Judiciary should be covered under the same? The same is being discussed and criticized in the Public Also..  Yeh Publik hai bhai....  They Ask Kya Chupana Hai... ? Corrupt ho kya ... Jo Lokpal Se Bachna Chahte Ho....??? But is it that simple to decide whether the Lokpal Should have jurisdiction over the Prime Ministers office? For this we should know who will be a Lokpal? Lokpal will be a constitutional machinery which will have power to receive complaints of corruption against those covered under the same. It may have power to investigate or interrogate the concerned and others for coming to conclusion It may have power to order enquiry against the official found corrupt and may have powers to recommend the investigations again...
