Medals made in heaven

i don't know where the marriages are made.. but for India medals are made in heaven.

First Gold Medal for Abhinav bindra and now Bronze for Sushil kumar, have made the country proud. I don't say that they are by fluke (Giving full credit to athletes) .. but i do say that looking at the tally of the first 10 we should feel ashamed.

Many hopes and few results from the unexpected arenas. some shocks from the expectations make us beleieve that we are depending more on fate.

India is land where KARMA YOG was preached by the god himself and we are not counting on the karma yoga and are more dependent on fate - KISMAT.

Let us now do better efforts in the sports field.

The government should make more efforts in providing best trainning and trainning environment to the athletes so that the medals dont come as a shock to us ... and we can show that we deserve what we are getting.

Few more days to go.. and some more medals will make this olympic a better rare view mirror to go ahead on this medals highway.

Education: A Key Driver of Social Change and Economic Development

Education is not just a means to acquire knowledge and skills, but a powerful tool that can transform individuals, communities, and societies. It can contribute to economic growth, social cohesion, and democratic governance. Education is a fundamental human right and a public good that should be accessible to all, regardless of their background or circumstances. However, despite its importance, education remains a contested and politicized issue in many parts of the world. Governments, civil society, the private sector, and other stakeholders have different views and interests in shaping education policies and practices. This has led to unequal access to education, poor quality of education, and inadequate resources for education. To address these challenges, public policymakers and politicians need to understand the importance of education in shaping the society they want to create and serve. They need to recognize that education is not a neutral or technical matter, but a complex...

Pakistan Crossing Limits

Our neighbour has made sure to interfere in our business every time it gets an opportunity. The resolutions passed in the Pakistan National and State Assemblies regarding the current situation in J&K is one more such attempt. They See human rights violation in J&K and what they are doing in Baluchistan is their internal matter. The Pakistan have always funded the terrorism and separatist movements in J&K. This India has been alleging since long but the old Time friend of PAkistan i.e. USA Has also felt the same now. The separatists have been shouting pro pakistan slogans in the kashmir valley and have been showing the Pakistani Flags on the road, shows that they are insulting our national Honor - our National Flag. but the central government is not interested in prosecuting them for doing so. More over time and again the pakistan is violating the cease fire and thus assisting the intrudors a cover to enter india. Allegations of economic blockade, are just red herring and th...

Inflation and Commodity Exchange - a thought...

Commodity trading on exchanges is time and again being held responsible for the increase in the inflation in the essential commodities. Recently Silver touched price of Rs 75000 per kg and then came back crashing to Rs 50000 per kg. It was later found that the lots of speculative trading on the New York Comex was responsible for such a shootup in the silver prices. NY Comex then increased the margin requirement of trading in silver to 84% from 25% and then the prices came down drastically.. this establishes the nexus between the price rise and the speculative trading on the commodity exchanges.. In India on the commodity exchanges all the commodities are being traded and even speculated.. some having marign money requirement of as low as 12 to 15% and thus the prices shoot up because of the speculation.. For example if i can buy a lot of some food grain at 15% margin and one lot on delivery costs 100000 Rs.. i can buy the same for Rs 15000 in a vayada bazaar or the futures market and t...
