Countdown to Olympics

India has not performed well in olympics except in few sports.. i dont know that why has it been so when we have such huge population and such rich culture and very nice athletes and sports men performing in the world of sports.

Political involvement in selection process can be one of the reason. and this is clear after our hockey team could not qualify for the olympics. and that too after the selection process was exposed after a sting operation.

Shooters and weightlifters will do their jobs i believe.. and we can be sure of some medals in the name of india!

The Dogs Life - Aftermath of the Mumbai Attack

We all were disturbed by the pictures running for over 60 Hours on the news Channel. The news was the Attack on the Financial Capital of India. The number of Terrorist said to be between 1-12 as per the government statement. The number of People Dead 195 approx in which 22 Foreigners died and around 325 people injured. But most important aspect is i felt that we all Stupid Common Men of India are living DOGS LIFE. Know why? ... It is because the 16 Soilders who died protecting us are given title of the 'Shaheed' which they deserve. The fidayeens who came here to attack Mumbai would be called Shaheed by Jehadis - (i dont feel that they are shaheed) but since terrorism is an undeclared war .. some respect for the opponents too. Serial Blasts took place in Ahmedabad and these 17 Blasts in all killed more than 45 people and left hundreds lamenting with injury and loss of their loved ones. India a Dictatorial Democracy?

I was going through an article on Democracy and its functioning, and there i found a claim that - "India is largest Democracy" of world in terms of the Population. I thought of comparing the same with USA which is oldest Democracy of the World. Many people are surprised that how Democracy can function in India in wake of the poverty, illiteracy, Caste, region and religious Divide... so is this democracy functioning "RAM BHAROSE"?
